Tenerife. "The island of eternal spring."
When I told my family and friends that
I was going to live in Tenerife, many of
them ridiculed the idea.
So many people have the wrong idea
about Tenerife and what it really has to
offer.
Tenerife not only has the best
CLIMATE , a low  COST OF LIVING
and excellent  HEALTH CARE, it  is  
also  a  very  interesting  and  beautiful
 island.  Having  a  very  diverse  
landscape,  from   the   MT  TEIDE
NATIONAL PARK, the fruitful
Oratava Valley, The Masca Gorge,
The Teno mountains in the north, to
the volcanic coastline with its selection
 of  very  different  towns, enabling  
Tenerife to offer  something  for  
almost  everyone. The  shopping  is  of  
a  very high standard, there are very
few things that we cannot buy
.Tenerife has some good schooling,  
whether  you  send  your  children to
the local state schools or one of the
private ones. The  SPORTS  activities  
are  limitless,  the  GOLF   is  
excellent and well organised. Amongst
the vast range of other activities, the  
WALKING is out of this world  and  
caters  for  all  levels.
Tenerife  is  approx  2000 sq   
kilometres  and   is  the largest of  the
Canary Islands,  with a population of
over 750,000. The island has a very
interesting HISTORY dating back to  
the late 15th  century.  The  FAUNA
AND FLORA  only  enhance  the  
beauty  of  this  truly wonderful island.
Tenerife has a solid
INFRASTRUCTURE. It also  has
some superb places for entertainment
and  various other ACTIVITIES, a
great range of towns with a fantastic
selection of hotels, restaurants, villas
and apartments, it is no wonder that
this fabulous island attracts
well in excess of
eight million visitors every year.

In my opinion, Tenerife must
be one of the best places to
live in the world.
